Violin performance

On Tuesday 14th February Y5 performed the violins for their grown-ups and the rest of the school.  It was our chance to show the skills we have learnt since September.

All of use played really well; keeping in time and playing on the right string.  Our performance showed that we can follow a rhythm, keep a beat and play together as a group. Here are some of the children’s thoughts about the concert:

Vaclav, “It was fun because all the parents came”

Macie “We got to play with our bows, our fingers and we sung”

Cole, “I enjoyed it!”

Courtney, “It was good because we could play in front of an audience”

We hope you enjoyed it and thanks for coming.

  1. Good morning Emerald class.
Thank you for inviting us to your violin concert assembly. It was lovely to be able to listen to different music being played. We think that you have worked super hard since September. Well done.

  2. Wow, Emerald Class, you are all super musicians! You should all be very proud of yourselves.

Lots of children in Ruby Class are no really excited to be in Year 5 so they too can learn how to play a musical instrument.

Thank you for inspiring us! xx
